Mandate
The National Economic Council has the mandate to provide support and recommendations to the President in accelerating the implementation of strategic policies and key initiatives in the economic sector.
Functions
To provide strategic advice and recommendations to the President for the alignment of economic policies with national priorities.
To recommend measures that ensure effective implementation of priority programs in the economic sector.
To formulate recommendations on the resolution of obstacles and strategic issues affecting the acceleration of economic initiatives.
To deliver recommendations based on monitoring and evaluation of strategic policies and national priority programs.
To carry out administrative functions of the National Economic Council.
